Michael has been investing in and partnering with small- and medium- sized businesses for over 25 years. Prior to co-founding Wincove, Michael was a Partner at Hampshire Equity Partners, a NY-based private equity firm with approximately $1 billion of capital under management. There, he sourced, led, and successfully exited middle market investments. Michael began his career in the investment banking group of Alex Brown.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Boston College. He lives with his wife and four children in the Boston area, where he is active in several non-profit and community-related activities.
John has 20 years of experience investing in and building middle-market companies, including several operating roles within portfolio companies. Prior to co-founding Wincove, John was a Vice President at Hampshire Equity Partners. At Hampshire, John was responsible for evaluating and executing potential investments, and managing portfolio company investments. He began his career in the investment banking division of Rothschild Inc.
John graduated from Georgetown University and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children. He serves on the NYC Advisory Board of Back on My Feet, a charity that addresses homelessness through running.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Prior to joining Wincove, Sally spent seven years as the Director of Tax at Alcion Ventures, L.P., where she handled tax compliance, structuring, and planning for the firm’s funds. Sally began her career and spent several years at Deloitte and KPMG, where she focused on tax compliance and tax consulting for a number of large and mid-sized private equity funds and REITs.
She graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and she is a licensed CPA in the state of Massachusetts. Sally lives in the Boston area with her husband and son.
Before joining Wincove, Sean led the carve-out of Endeavor Robotics, a defense technology company, from iRobot, and its subsequent sale to FLIR Systems. He is a former Marine officer, McKinsey consultant, and U.S. Congressional candidate.
Sean graduated from Georgetown University and earned an MBA from the Wharton School. He also holds an additional graduate degree in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Prior to joining Wincove, Alex enjoyed a 12-year professional hockey career. During that time, Alex served as a Player Representative with the NHL Players Association. Alex graduated from Harvard University, where he was Captain of the hockey team, and earned an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and four children.
Dan joined Wincove as an Analyst directly out of college and is currently a Vice President. Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Assumption College, where he was a member of the men’s lacrosse team.
Jason joined Wincove as a Vice President in 2023. Previously, Jason was an investor with PSG and Century Equity Partners, where he was responsible for evaluating, structuring, and executing investments in middle market and growth companies across a number of industries. Jason graduated from Trinity College with degrees in Economics and Public Policy and earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Earlier in his career, Jason worked in corporate development and investment banking.
Brendan joined the Wincove team after working as an Associate Consultant at Investor Group Services. He graduated from Middlebury College, where he was a Captain of the men’s ice hockey team.
Thomas previously worked as an Associate Consultant at Chartis, in the Private Equity Advisory Group. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Middlebury College, where he was a member of the men’s squash team.
Sean previously worked at RSM as an auditor within the financial services group. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Massachusetts. He graduated magna cum laude from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Sean currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Committee of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
Louis first started with Wincove as an intern and officially joined as an Analyst a year later. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Virginia, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Bentley University.
Soraya joined Wincove in 2019 as an Executive Assistant, while developing other roles within the team over the years. She earned her BA in English with a minor in Education at UMass Dartmouth. Soraya previously taught elementary school, along with working in the travel industry.
