Wincove Recapitalizes Sommers Motor Generator Systems

Stratford, Ontario – September 3, 2024 – Wincove Private Holdings, LP (“Wincove”) announced today that it has invested in Sommers Generator Systems, together with its U.S. subsidiary, Ironclad Power Systems ("Sommers” or the “Company”). Wincove has partnered with President, Chris McGregor, who will remain in his current leadership role, as well as other existing investors.

Sommers is a leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of premium quality generator systems for prime power, standby power, and mobile applications.  Sommers provides custom generators for a variety of end markets and also offers generator rentals, parts, and best-in-class scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair services.
